The other day while walking around a little mall in Santa Fe NM I came across a store. From outside the store my interest was instantly peaked. I walked in and was taken aback by the 4 cases of beautifully displayed pens. I have always wanted a fountain pen so I spent a few moments talking to the clever and snarky man behind the counter. I asked him simple questions, laughing at his smug remarks, and convincing myself that now is a good time to walk out with one of these pens. So I did it, I walked out with my first fountain pen, nothing fancy just a start, a Pilot Metropolitan and Private Reserve Purple Mojo. I got home and instantly started writing, for the first time in a long time, like a valve being turned on, I wrote for 4 hours straight.
Since then I have been writing daily and am hooked. Could anyone point me in the right direction to some vintage pens. As I am extremely new at this and know nothing, I would like to know what to look for: brands, certain nibs, where I may find a good deals online, ect.
