Been DE shaving since last June with a Muhle R89. Couldn't have made the conversion successfully without reading all the tips, advice, and reviews you all have posted. I'm hooked on learning the history of shaving and most recently, appreciating the craftsmanship of the razors from by gone years. My father recently passed along a collection of razors in need of TLC that he has picked up at flea markets over the years--30 plus in total. I've identified and used Fatboys, Slims, Old and New Types, Techs, a Segal, and a handful of SE and injector razors, to include a Schick Repeating Razor B Type. Still don't have enough so I've turned to the Bay and recently picked up a "junk" collection with a Slim and a Blacktip among the collection. Just want to say thanks for all the knowledge shared on the site and hope to learn more and share as well. I am enamored by the connection that shaving provides across generations. Finally, I share the common thread, my wife thinks I'm crazy.
