Probably a dumb question, but I'm not too sure. The shaving videos I've been watching seem to press fairly hard, enough to cause the brush to spread out. But when I've tried it that way, it seems to leave a much thinner lather, as well as being pretty uncomfortable. Is it alright to just sort of brush the stuff on?
My brush is Satin Tip - The Purest if it matters.
