More questions from the PITA new guy I know. But here goes. I've seen mention of inspecting a razors edge with a loupe to check for defects. I have a loupe, so I've been checking my razor pre shave post stropping, and post shave. (Well more accurately, the bevel, since at 10x I can't see the actual edge.) At any rate, besides the obvious dings, I'm concerned about rolled edges due to poor stropping. I have no idea what this looks like and whether or not I can see it. On the technique side, "Scything". Is this when you move the toe of the razor down at the end of your stroke? I make this motion as I shave, and it seems to improve the efficiency of the stoke by a quite a bit, particularly in the neck area. Is this ok to do? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again guys.
