Since the original wedge blades were like mini straight razors designed to be resharpened, could I use lapping film and sharpen them like a normal straight? I have a collector's grade early razor that I don't want to fool with, but I might play around with a user grade one that I also have. I was thinking that lapping film would work better than the old stropping mechanisms they used since these blades have dulled and corroded over time and would need a lot more than stropping.
