Conditioned it with Dawn and Musgo Real cream.
I used it for the 1st time this morning. Noticeably stiffer than my Parker Silvertip. I put the same amount of Proraso Red Cream and Now Solutions Glycerine that I've been using in the Captain's Choice Bowl. It lathered up the Proraso much faster than the Parker. Doesn't seem to hold as much cream as the Parker. It puts the cream on much thinner too. Took longer to get a good covering. Got as good a shave as I've been getting.
The odd thing was I had to add more Proraso for the 3rd pass. I always have cream left over with the Parker.
Is this normal? Will it get better with use? I never experienced this with the Parker. Maybe this is just the difference in badger knot grades?
