I ordered a Vintage Blades Finest Badger 22mm Brush. It should arrive Tomorrow. Is there anything I need to do before I start using it? Does it need to be cleaned or broken in, or is it ready to go out of the box? I have never used a badger brush before. The only brush I have used so far is a VDH boar brush. The boar brush broke in nicely and is relatively soft now. I just wanted to try something new & thought the VB brush would be a good one to try. Will I notice much of a difference between it and the boar brush? Also, the handle on the VDH brush cracked, I repaired it with epoxy. I don't want that to happen to my new brush. Are there precautions to take to prevent handles from cracking?
