Hello Gents,
I just received my Simpsons Chubby 2 Best Badger brush today. I used it today for the first time and noticed some initial hair loss. I collected all the hair which totalled 7 strands of hair altogether. I am collecting them in a ziplock bag for reference in case I have to return it for refund as proof. Any Simpsons brush owners that can help me out from their experiences with similar hair loss from ether a Chubby or other brands in the Simpsons line.
Should I be worried or concerned? I have other badger brushes such as the Kent BK8, Semogue 2 Band, and Savile Row 3824 which had some hair loss at the beginning. However this ceased by second and third shave.
Should the hair loss cease like my other badgers? Also I know the time frame for hair loss should be between 3 to 4 weeks for most badger brushes I believe.
I received this brush as a gift and would be gutted if more hair fell out from such an esteemed shaving brush.
Any advice or help would be much appreciated. Thank you
