Hello Folks, Last night I called to talk with my youngest son (who is 34 years old), just to exchange some family news, sports and such. The usual father and son chat :)
Anyway, I brought up the subject of shaving and that I have recently switched to a de razor and blades. I was thinking that I can tell him about the virtues of wet shaving. The cost savings (if you don’t get too addicted), the quality of the shave, etc. Kind of brag about it…lol.
Well, before I can get into it, he comes back with an immediate response “Dad, I’ve been wet shaving for close to 2 years!!!” I was wonderfully surprised!!!!
He proceeded to tell me his main reason for switching was the cost of cartridge blades. But, that it has since evolved into enjoying the shaving experience. We then began swapping tales of razor blades, which brands we are using or have tried, what razors we have, shaving cream, after shaves… the whole nine yards :)
He told me that he started with a cheap store bought razor and progressed to an old Gillette tech. He also mentioned that now, he tries to convince friends the joys of wet shaving. I told him that he should have told me about it 2 years ago!!!
I was glad I called my youngest. It was a great phone call
