Since my TWSBI bit the dust, I've been carrying my Lamy Logo as a knock around pen at work. I like the way it writes well enough, but the metal section is pretty slippery. The 78G seems so highly regarded that I ordered one from Japanese Stationary. Everyone else seems to be out of stock on them except for eBay sellers. I added a CON-50 converter to the order as well just in case I'm not liking the squeeze converter it comes with. I really don't like the looks of the Metropolitan. The 78G just looks more like a classic pen, and I like the screw-on cap as opposed to the push-on cap on the Metro.
Who'd of thought such an inexpensive pen could be so highly recommended by so many people? Well, I'm about to see if they are worth all the hype. If it outlasts my now deceased TWSBI, I think it will be money well invested.
