One of my coworkers was asking me how I shave everyday without getting razor bumps and I began telling him about the wonders of traditional wetshaving. Tonight I convinced him to let me give him a brush, razor, a few blades and soap to try out and teach him about the Right way to shave. He told me that he has issues with razor bumps from his Fusion Proglide and I told him how I used razors older than both of us and get the best shaves of my life. He was astonished!
So here is what I plan to give him:
A 40's style Gillette SuperSpeed
A tuck of Astra SP
A tuck of Lord Platinum Class
5 personna lab blues
An Omega 10066
A stand
And a puck of VDH deluxe
What do you guys think of this as a first timer's setup?
