My limited reading and usage of "the fat" tells me that if you're loading the brush while its on the drier side, thats good. I will say that water does need to be added to the lathering process after that, so i'm wondering if you are ultimately not adding enough water at the tail-end of the process. If you are regularly seeing sticky, hard to remove soap on the razor while rinsing, i'm of the belief that lack of proper water-hydration is a factor (in general, for any soap)
