I just registered after a year of reading posts and gaining information on technique etc. I finally got around to joining a group that I consider to be collectively knowledgeable on all aspects of shaving. I look forward to making whatever small contribution to the conversation that I can. I've been DE shaving now for almost 2 years and my wife feels that I have a obsession with my new hobby. My recent acquisition was two new Semogue boar brushes (1305 and a 1250) (8) sticks of Arko, MWF, La Toja shave stick, and a tub of Cella along with a tub of Arko for good measure. There were also several packs of Voskhod blades to round out the order. Her eyes glaze over when I excitedly tell her what I have learned on B&B or why I want to buy new soaps, brushes, vintage razors...well you know the story. Anyway, I'm glad to be part of a group of men that understand the excitement of a BBS shave without irritation and the methods used to get there.
