I've had my heart set on a demonstrator TWSBI for quite sometime. But I'm at a point in my life where, if the nib isn't a stub/italic or flexy, I'm not interested. The only 1.1mm stubs available at Goulet currently are the mini and the vac mini. It seems as though most of the TWSBI line is out of stock.
I wouldn't be entirely opposed to using the giftcard on the 580 AL with a medium nib, with hopes of buying a 1.1mm nib later. But I was wondering if anyone could offer some comparison on the mini versions.
Alternatively, I've also been really interested in a Kaweco for those days when I need a pocket pen (no shirt pocket). While I like the black with gold trim (I'm a Saint's fan, of course), I also like the idea of the clear Kaweco converted to an eyedropper for the "wow" factor.
Thoughts?
