I think that is an aluminum Handle. Not Brass, It's Pretty Light. Also looks like a Mismatch as the bottom plate doesn't look like the proper Gillette bottom plate.
Don't fall for nice pictures. you can pic this "Proper" up for about 20 bucks or less, if I am not mistaken
