Hi guys, I have another thread open to identify my razors. I’m having trouble with getting a smooth shave with my DE razor unless I go against the grain - which is ok but I do get a bit of redness and the starting of ingrown hairs.
Tonight I just completed a shave with two passes, one with the grain and the second across the grain on my cheeks but with the grain on my neck to try and get a close shave and avoid redness.
I have attached pictures to try and show the level of stubble on my neck which I would to reduce without too much irritation - ignore the nick below my chin!
Is this the level of closeness that people generally achieve when only doing essentially one pass on the neck?
