My first "real" boar brush and I finally get it! Going from the other "starter wire brushes" to this is a big step for me.
Hand lathered gently about 6 times to accelerate break in, 3 face lather shaves with it and I am now a believer. I have attached a pic and I don't know if you can see, but look for the black hair that has split and the one off to the side with a "tri-tip".

I have made a return to de shaving after a 40 year hiatus. Learned with canned foam and hand application and never thought the right brush would make such a difference. Thanks for all the info people!
