Yo, sup gents! Englishman with questions here.
I aquired this handsome little set yesterday for £5.. (about $8)
I've done some google-fu and found out they initially released a set of 3 for some royal thingy. One of being the high end model, one the middle ground and this one the 'basic'.
Really good condition though, no rust, gunk or grime. Even the box is solid! Comes with 3 Wilkinson Sword blades too, still sharp and rustless.
My questions are: What else is there to know? I've never used a safety razor as I've always loved Cut throats/straights, so.. should I use it or.. is it a collectable? I could pass it on and buy a 'user' and get started that way and not risk murdering a piece of history.
Is it safe to say it's collectable? Valuable even? (any idea on the going rate for one like this?)
I'm happy with it, but the inner geek nature I have needs to know more! :)
