This morning was the first time trying out the Feather blades. After reading a lot about them here, it was with more than a little caution that I popped one in to the trusty Brit NEW, lathered up with a go-to soap (only change one thing at a time) and then put this monster to my face........
.....wonderful! A few places where it has nicked a bump in the skin, but what usually gives me a dfs with derby extras has given me a full on bbs.
Tempted to get the 100 pack, but I also think that the Astra SP might be a middle ground - not as costly (but at 25 euro cents a blade, the feathers aren't as costly as a cartridge) but might also give me a better shave than the Derbys.
Still, chalk one up to the feathers, chaps
