I have a silver tip and a tweezerman best. Simply put, one has a biggish set of hairs, one is smaller. I can use both to get good lather whether in a bowl or on my face. So my query relates to the painting your face part. I do circles, I hold the base of the knot, I paint. How do I know if my technique or the results are as good as they could be though? I am holding a brush full of spongy white gunk and my face is layered in the stuff. I can't see to what degree the hairs are lifting or fully coated....
How do you know if you are using your brush 'right'
