I used to use my beard all grown and untidy, but I'll be looking for a new job in a few months and I know I'll have to be shaved and the girlfriend says I'm a monkey when not shaved so I started to shave regularly.
I was using a Panasonic electric to see if I could get the irritation better as in the neck area seemed impossible to not get irritated... But the electric was the same thing, even worse as I had to pass it so many times to get a good shave that I ended up looking like I was trying to hang myself because of having the neck all red and irritated...
So, I started looking for a solution, and I ended up in here, reading the great wiki!
The thing is, I'm actually seeing that there is a lot of advantages, I can shave and not have any irritation, even not having a super close shave I'm happy enough with it...
As I mentioned in the title, I'm from Uruguay, a so small market that we do not have a simple good quality DE razor in anywhere... I can still get blades but do not know for how long lol. A good friend and coworker borrowed me some of his gilletes, this are from the 1960 more or less, and are not in special good shape, they can be used however. I can get here the Wilkinson Sword blades and BIC blades, I haven't tried the last ones yet... But anyway, the difference with a mach 3 (we don't have the fusion here yet lol) is enormous! So much smoother! But no so close BUT no irritation so I'm really happy!
I'm using the Dr. Selby Soap, it comes in a bowl, it has lavanda scent but it is actually something like an herbal scent...
I would like to know if you can get DE shavers and blades in stores there in USA, especially in Miami and Orlando, I will be visiting US in just a month :)
