Based on the reviews of read, these knots should be as soft as clouds. I have a 22mm knot set at 50mm and when face lathering it feels like I'm using a wire brush. I originally had it set at 48 and the backbone was comfortable but the scritch was unbearable so I increased the loft. Now at 50mm, the backbone is as soft as I would ever want, but the scritch is still the same. I've probably test lathered the brush 10 times to speed up any break in, but I've had no such luck. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Two of my three finest knots have no scritch, and one has minimal scritch, so I was expecting the the tips of the Silvertip to be similar or better.
