Having returned to DE shaving for the past several years after originally starting in the 1960s with DE blades I've decided to join B&B.
After succumbing to the hype of multi-blade marketing for far too long, am now back to where I started, albeit with better razors and blades.
I have the advantage of traveling between Bangkok (where I live) and Dubai (where I work) several times a year. In Dubai, I can get all kinds of shaving creams at low prices (Nivea, Godrej, etc. for value; Penhaligon at Dubai Mall for a splurge). When it comes to blades, Supermax Superplatinum in Dubai for about USD7 for 100. in Bangkok, Feathers for about USD15 for 100 at the local beauty and barber supply store not far from my home.
Brushes and razors are of course mail-ordered to Dubai where customs duty is usually not charged against shipments below USD500 or so.
Best of both worlds?
Best regards,
DuK
