Hello all I am new to wet shaving. I received my first DE razor for Christmas 2013 it was a cheapo kit from amazon.com it worked pretty well until i dropped it on the tile floor and it broke by April 2014.

i like it a lot it gives a nice smooth shave it was a fortunate find and it was free too.
I use the cheap boar brush that came with the Van Der Hagen premium set I bought from Walmart it works pretty well but I've been looking to find a better brush but they are so expensive for even a reasonable badger brush which im not even sure i need seeing how i like my cheapo boar brush. I've been seeing some horse hairs at a pretty reasonable price so some input would be great i would hate to spend $20 plus on a brush that sucks. Anyways glade to be here and i like all the experience available on this site.
