No More Super Speeds!

I have tried a Red Tip & a Flare Tip with different blades and I'll be frank: if this was all I had to use back "in the day" I would have joined an Amish sect or a monastic order. :glare: I just can't seem to get as good a shave as I can with a Schick Krona or the Feather Popular for that matter. The Red Tip is just too damned aggressive for my face and the Flare Tip just a tad better. As well, I can't get under my nose as easily as with the others aforementioned. It feels like I'm trying to park a Buick in a doghouse. :blink: The Krona glides like an Olympic skater on my face no matter the blade and I get a DFS every time. The Feather Popular as well, albeit a tad milder.



That said, I am not throwing the Gillette baby out with the bath water here as I stumbled into a mint "in the box" Gillette Slim and it gave me a great shave set on "5" with an Israeli Red . Maybe someday if I stumble into a Blue Tip for a song I will give it a whirl, but until then.....I am done with the Super Speed model.
