Hey guys,I'm another newbie here to learn some tips and tricks, and hopefully return the favour when I can.Unfortunately, my problem at the moment is lather.
I followed the steps I found on B&B with this tutorial:http://ift.tt/1gLr00Q
At first I was using Derby shaving soap (it came with the blades I ordered) and now I'm using Palmolive Classic Shaving cream with Palm Extract.I thought it might be because I wasn't using quality soap with the Derby, but now with the Palmolive shaving cream I think I'm doing something wrong.
Every time, I get the lather to a good smooth creamy consistency (in a bowl), I apply it and then after I've got half the face done it dries out, looses volume and comes off in flakes.
Any tips? How can I get the lather to keep it's consistency?
My Kit: Parker SR1 Shavette + Palmolive Shaving Cream + Edwin Jagger Synthetic Brush + Molton Brown Pre-Shave (Probably not relevant)
Thanks guys!
