about a 2 months ago i bought the chosera 600 1k 3k and 5k.. after using them .. the 6k started crazing and no matter how many times i lapped it , under the loupe it looked like a small divot was missing out of the stone.. kept lapping and lapping same problem.. the 1k is fantastic .. same for the 3k im keeping an eye on my 5k now.. not only is it thristy but its starting not to look right.. I contacted Mark at chefs knives to go.. He explains to me that chosera now has a new stone coming out that will be thinner and no longer coming with a nagura.. so i guess chosera was aware of the problems.. lets wait and see..
