Gentlemen I wish to discuss what I view as a disapointing trend in our younger bretheren. I dont want to single them out but the trend seems to be worst in the young.
Last night I was driving along one of our local main streets when I had to stop for a traffic light. A young couple was crossing the street in front of me heading to a resturant. The young lady was dressed to the nines with a nice dress, her hair done, high heels on and nice makeup on. The young man with her on the other hand looked like he just got out of bed and threw on whatever was on the floor of his bed room. He was wearing saggy dirty jeans, an old hoody with the tail of his shirt hanging out, a backwards baseball cap and used sneakers. I was very surprised.
I proceeded to the resturant I was going to and just after I was seated another young couple was seated next me. Again the young lady was dressed to the nines but this time the young man was too complete with tie. Nice to see.
Gentlemen I really feel I need to say something here. If your young lady puts out what I know from personal experience to be a very significant amount of time and effort to look good for you don't you think you owe it to her to do the same?!!!!!
I would love to hear from our younger brethen on this but anyone is welcome to comment.
