5/8 vs Bigger - Size Does matter

I only have two straights currently, both Dovo's one 5/8's and a 6/8. I have been using the 6/8's exclusively since I bought it, about 20 shaves or so. This morning I used the 5/8 and was surprised at how much I preferred the feel/handling of the 6/8 as well as the way a 6/8 mows through my beard vs. the 5/8. The 6/8's just takes less work, the ATG and XTG passes were much easier and smoother.



So, I have found several 6/8's TI's and am going to pull the trigger on one tomorrow....but, it got me thinking.....how about a 7/8's. If a 6/8's is good a 7/8's must be better...right?





Any pointers or advice will be appreciated.
