I've been reading this site for months. Figured it was time to join up and give it proper respects.
Decided this past year to step up my game and treat myself. I started getting a classic shave and cut at my barbers. I figured why not treat myself at home too. So I spoiled myself with a Merkur Futur with matching silver tip badger brush, stand and bowl. Having never used a DE blade before I had no idea what gap I would need. Come to find out I needed several settings based on frequency of my shaves. I've become quite good with it using feather blades and all of the Proraso accoutrements. Best choice I've ever made. That is until last week. I broke out the check book and spoiled myself a little more. My Feather Artist Club DX teak wood arrived yesterday. Let the blood letting begin...
Anyway, just wanted to say hi, give a little history about my journeys in shaving and say thanks for putting together this site. It has helped me greatly on my shaving adventures.
