hey everyone,
i've been wanting to try a safety razor for a few months now. i've heard from several people and sources that it will reduce irritation and razor burn once i fine tune my technique. i just picked up a 3 razor lot from ebay. im not sure what the first one is but it is a 3 piece open comb. the other two are super speeds, one flair and one red tip. they all looked a little dirty in the pics, but i didn't see any pitting or major plate wear/flaking. i'll try to get pictures when they get here.
i also picked up a sampler lot of blades. i don't know what i'll like in which razor. i try each different blade in each razor for 2 or so weeks and note which i like best.
the only things i need now are a mug, soap, brush, and aftershave. i'm open to recommendations so throw out what you like and why.
