Brush: Whipped Dog 22mm Silvertip

Blade: Brand New Gillette 7 Oclock Black

Pre: None Today

Cream: TOBS Mr Taylor

AfterShave: TOBS Mr Taylor Balm



Started with Brush soak in bowl in hot water. Bowl also soaking in sink of hot water. Showered. Lathered up the Mr Taylor in bowl. Such a pleasure lathering TOBS. Used my WD brush..just a tiny tad bit to floppy..wish know was set a bit deeper to lower loft.

Anyway the shave itself was a 3 pass shave. WG/XG/AG. Very nice shave. I liked the 7OClock Black..no tugging..very smooth. 1st Shave with it.

All in all a great shave..no nicks.

Followed up with TOBS Mr Taylor Balm. Both the TOBS cream and balm are samples I got for Xmas. I'm a big TOBS fan in general but this is my first time using this scent. The AS balm is a bit greasy at first but dries nicely-no shine. The scent itself I like a lot. I want to try it a couple more times before Id pull the trigger on a full size purchase but so far I really like.

All in all a great,relaxing Sunday am Shave!
