What we have here today is an absolutely lovely brush that should go to a good den.
The stats. Knot is 29x56 in some kind of ethereal soft 3 band pillow. You want cloud like? This is it. Lather hogging is not an issue with this brush. Density is open enough to let it flow. Huge handle that is ergonomically pleasing. Bowl latherers grail brush, though I face lather almost exclusively.
As far as this brushes pedigree is concerned, I am the third owner that I know of. My suspicion is this brush is an Classic Shaving "old stock" Rooney. The knot could be real deal Heritage, there is no way to know? It has shed 5 hairs since last May when I acquired it. Otherwise perfect. Used often.
I'm looking for a Shavemac 3 band D01 in the 24-26mm range. Specifically an Americana if you have one. Other than that I'd be willing to part for a very soft M&F 2XL. I had one in Blonde Badger and it was just too dense for me. If you have something else really cool brush wise I'll listen to all offers. Please, no Simpson brushes though.
Brush is not for sale. No trade and it goes back in the den. Fair warning, I'm going to be very picky about what I trade for.
