I have been shaving double edge for about three years now, I have always wanted to use a straight razor.
I am looking at buying the Theirs Issard iron wood razor, this will match my brush. However this razor is NOT cheap.
My question is, if and I most likely will, buy this razor, do I need to buy a strop and honing stone at the same time?? Also how often should you strop the razor?
I appreciate this question has most likely been asked before, I have searched the question but not really got the direct answer I am looking for.
Any advice / help would be appreciated.
