So this is it.
I wanted to do something extra-special with my 100th post, a generous PIF with a cool gimicky game attached or a lengthy discussion of my growth on the road to the new manliness. I wanted it so much so that I put of posting for weeks until I could arrange something appropriate.
Due to lack of time and expense, none of that happened.
I will, however, use this milestone post to attempt to express my appreciation for you guys. Badger & Blade has literally, in every sense of the word, changed my life. The members of B&B are by far the manliest, most generous, most helpful, most genuine group of guys (and gals) that I have come across in my relatively short adulthood. I have some great role models and heroes in my life and I have strived to live up to their standards. I also consider you guys in that category. I also strive to live the genuine, generous, truly manly life that you guys reflect. Although I fail sometimes, I understand that it will grow back by tomorrow and I can try that shave again.
With my milestone 1000th post, I want to say, "Thank you" to this wonderful community. Your stellar examples have helped regular people like me in more ways than you can imagine. And just maybe, when life permits, I will have the opportunity to express my appreciation with the trademark generosity that characterizes the members of this community.
