I was looking for a longer handle for my Gillette Travel New and came across the West Coast Shaving 77S Open Comb and jumped on it. I could have bought the stainless steel handle by itself but decided for a little bit more to get the head as well. The head is cast zinc with a lustrous chrome plating and looks great.
I'm a cartridge guy and seldom use a DE, but since I had the new handle I tried it on the New and them for the heck of it tried it with the open comb head it came with.
