Found a nice metal Rubberset number 3 at an antique store last weekend. It has an old boar knot but it's not in good shape and I use synthetic knots exclusively now.
In the past I've sent all my found brushes to Rudy for restoration. Now I'm wondering whether I could/should try it myself???
I don't know the first thing about it. I don't know how to remove the old knot, I don't know how to know what size synthetic to get, and I don't know how to secure the new knot.
So, what do you...
