I seem to have to strop my Ralf Aust a couple of times per shave or it gets too aggressive. Previously I used a Dovo Inox which now belongs to a friend and it never had this issue, made it through a shave no problem. Right now I’m awaiting a Hart Steel which has a higher hardness so I’m hoping that helps reduce stropping time.
