So I have recently started making my own resin cores and spinning them on the lathe (way more fun than I ever imagined) and after getting the right shape, I am having a bit of trouble achieving a high gloss.
I have wet sanded with high-low grit, then polished on the buffing wheel with a "Plastic Rouge" from Harbor Freight, but it just seems to stall out at the buffing wheel and not gain much shine...
Words of wisdom?
