On May 15th I loaded a Gillette 7o'clock Super Stainless in my Merkur Progress and today finished the 12th shave on this blade and it is showing no signs of slowing down.
I'm not in danger of being inducted into the Excalibur club with such a small number of shaves, but for me, that number is significant.
There is something about the Progress, that at least for me, results in much longer blade life than I normally seem to get with other razors.
