When the Schick Injector was first developed, razor blades were carbon steel, not stainless. I assume that was true of the Schick blades as well as the DE blades. But the Schick injector blades couldn't easily be removed, dried, and reinserted as with double-edge blades of the era. So what did those early Schick Injector users do about blades rusting in the razors?
