Well I have reached the age (66) where I am about to buy my LAST brush and I want it to be really special. I am leaning toward having Rudy Vey make the brush for me. I have the Simpson Duke 3 in Best, Simpson Chubby 2 in Super and the Savile Row 3824. All are superb and have given me many years of fine service and I am sure they will give me many more. I use both soaps and creams and use a scuttle to make the lather so I want a brush that will do each. I want the knot to be a fan as all my present brushes are bulbs. I am thinking about the DO-1 2 band knot that Shavemac makes. Can I solicit the thoughts of those of you that own this knot? Are there other knots that I should consider? I know you guys love Rudy's work. I also here that Wolf Whiskers makes a nice brush as well. I am thinking of a 24 or 26 mm knot and would appreciate thoughts on this as well. Thanks brothers.
