I was on my way home from Atlantic City and stopped in Historic Smithville. Came across a barber shop and saw that they had some items for sale alongside some vintage items on display. The barbers didnt really know much about their sale items, but I found a "Master" brand puck of shaving soap for $2, and figured, "why not". It's about the size of williams (<2 oz).
I did a test lather on my palm last night and was surprised by the results. It made some very nice, dense, slick lather. So now I'm gonna be trying it out soon.
Has anyone ever used this soap before? The ingredients aren't listed, so I don't know what's in it, nor could I find it online. I didn't even realize this brand made shaving soap.
MASTER shave soap: surprise find. Anyone use this?
