Proraso Creams & Soaps - Am I on to a winner - Or am I just going nuts ?

Last year I pulled the trigger on a job lot of Proraso Red, White & Green Soaps and liked all 3 of them.

This year I won a job lot of Proraso Red, White, Blue & Green Creams at auction on eBay.
I prefer the Creams to the Soaps, in fact IMHO the Creams all win hands down compared to the Soaps- Scent, ease of lathering, performance - everything !!
The Soaps hardly get used and are now a bit of a 5th wheel - they're not as good as the Creams, but they're still much too good to go to waste.
I've got plans to try out some cold water super lathers during the July/August heatwave using White or Green Soap as a menthol base
Mixed with any one of either Lider, Estoril, Goldex, Bond, Old Spice Original, Musk or Fresh Lime Creams - all of which I found to be either too bland or too overpowering last year
But I'll only be super lathering once in a blue moon so I'll hardly make a dent in the Soaps.

I think I've come up with a practical solution to put the Soaps to good use-
Half the usual amount of Proraso Red, White or Green cream in a bowl or mug, mixed into a super lather with a few swirls of Proraso Red, White or Green Soap
I'll probably experiment with Blue Cream mixed with White Soap at some point
So far it performs just as well as Cream does on it's own, but the tubes of Cream should last twice as long and the tubs of Soap won't go to waste

Am I onto a winner - or am I just going nuts ?
