Itchy Neck

If you spot me two months, I can tell you I've been wetshaving for 10 years. Ten years ago, when I first started on this journey, I had razor burn so bad, you didn't even have to touch the skin for it to have that burning sensation. And then, to make matters worse, I shaved for the next two days, probably with bad technique...

Fast Forward at warp speed to 2016

Maybe three weeks ago, I was using PdP for my soap, and Gillette Superspeed (no notch) and the brush I bought a-way back in 2006 from the Art of Shaving. I should mention that I was using Personna Reds. What can I say, they like my face. It had been in there for a while. The face went fine. Then I shaved the right side of my neck. Then it began to itch. Three days later , (with a new personna,) I shaved again, with almost the same setup, except this time I used Barbasol. At the end of the shave, now the left hand side was itching.

I just think it's very strange. After all these years, without incident, now it starts itching.

Any ideas?
