Having been an electric shaver for the past 10 years, I have decided to try proper shaving. I watched all the online tutorials, read all the tips - and I have to say, my first experience was a pleasant one... however... My next ended up covered in cuts and is now sore as hell! On the plus side, my face has never felt so smooth.
I need some help with the neck issue as I shave before going to the office - and it is not a professional look - like something out of a horror film.
Will the soreness fade? How do I stop this happening again, or is it something that goes away in time as my neck gets used to wet shaving?
I was using Arko lather, and lathered on the face - should I do this another way? I thought I was easy on the pressure and had the angle right - and did the 3 passes.
Hints, tips and suggestions will all be gratefully received.
