2016 has been a year of revisiting the great mass produced shave soaps after spending much time the past few years exploring the artisan offerings. A few days ago, I dug out a refill puck of Arlington that I had milled into an old RazoRock container and loaded an Edwin Jagger synthetic brush.
What a treat.
Face lathering with a charged brush and a few dips of the brush tips in sink water made for an easy lather that had cushion and slickness. I'll be honest, I've used Marlborough and Windsor and enjoyed their scents, but during the warm days of summer, Arlington's citrus/Fern scent is something special.
