i got an incredible shave with this soap today, due to the following reason in which i contribute this to; the lather was so sheen and slicker than previous occasions, really contribute the improvement in lather and the overall shave to using only distilled water. I warmed up 1 cup of distilled water and soaked my brush, normally i use the faucet water which is hard water, and then bloom my soap with the same water.
as stated, i soaked my brush in the warm distilled water, and then bloomed my soap using the warm distilled water, this variable changed the entire shaving experience, 4 pass shave no irritation, i just couldn't believe it.
I also observed that the soap loading was also a lot creamier.
