I've been very satisfied with my shavette shaves here recently. I was able to get a bonafide straight from a knife dealer at my work for his dealer price. This blade came direct from the factory so it's nowhere near ready to shave. I have a strip picked out and I'll have it soon. I'm going to send this blade to get honed by someone who knows what they're doing as a first step. After that, I'm clueless. I've read lots of stuff about strop pastes and coticules etc. I guess I'm just looking for a decent array of stuff I can use at home to keep this edge sharp without having to buy multiple stones right off the bat. If anyone can help with that, I'd be in debt to them.
