Is definitely worth trying. I have no idea who is making it for them, but it is really good for the price. My wife likes their Double Vanilla, a straightforward vanilla that brings back memories for me of the vanilla ice cream groceries used to sell in the 70s and 80s. I love their Black Cherry sorbet, just really delicious. I want to try the Mango sorbet sometime, if I could ever make myself pass up the Black Cherry.
About $1.50 a pint, sometimes less, at Kroger groceries. If you like ice cream and have a Kroger in your area, you should try a pint and see what you think.
